ABSTRACT

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of disk-up sinus reamer (DSR) in maxillary sinus floor elevation with maxillary sinus septum. Methods: Twenty-four patients were included between January 2019 to January 2020 in Department of Oral Implantology, The Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. There were 10 males and 14 females with the age of (39.3±11.7) years old (range 22-56 years). Pre-operative(T0) cone-beam CT (CBCT) was taken for measurement and analysis. All patients were divided into group E (easy situations, septum located anterior to the zygo-matic process), group M (moderate situations, septum located pos-terior to the zygo-matic process) and group D (difficult situations, sagittally oriented septum). The maxillary sinus floor was grafted through the crestal approach by DSR and implants were placed simultaneously. Permanent repair was performed 6-8 months after operation. All patients underwent CBCT before surgery, after surgery immediately (T1), 6 months after surgery(T2), 1 year after surgery(T3), 2 year after surgery(T4). The residual bone height (RBH) and the vertical bone height (VBH) were analyzed. The mucosal perforation rate, implant survival rate were counted. Results: All the 24 patients completed the Maxillary sinus lift surgery successfully and 24 implants were placed simultaneously. All patients had no headache, dizziness. The mucosal perforation rate was 0. The survival rate of implants during the healing period was 100%(24/24). The RBH was (5.81±2.56) mm pre-operation, the VBHT1, VBHT2, VBHT3 and VBHT4 were (11.82±1.09), (10.98±0.52), (10.66±0.44) and (10.40±0.33) mm, respectively. The differences between the groups by pairing test were statistically significant (F=187.70, P0.001), expect VBHT3 and VBHT4 (P=0.071). Bone resorption and remodeling mainly occurred 1 year after surgery. One patient developed peri-implantitis 18 months after surgery. Conclusions: With the RBH of implant site>2 mm and existence of maxillary sinus septum, using DSR for sinus floor elevation has a high success rate. It can obtain enough bone height and complete the simultaneous implantation to form a good osseointegration. The DSR is simple, safe and controllable, and can shorten the operation time.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To evaluate the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) on the sleep quality after cesarean section and postpartum depression in parturients with sleep disorder.Methods:A total of 225 parturients, aged 20-45 yr, weighing 50-80 kg, of American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ, scheduled for elective cesarean section, were enrolled in this study.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) scale was used to investigate the sleep quality before operation.PSQI score<7 was defined as having no sleep disorder, and the patients were included in the non-sleep disorder group (NSD group, n=76). PSQI score≥7 was defined as having sleep disorder, and the patients were randomly divided into sleep disorder group (SD group, n=73) and TEAS group ( n=76). Routine combined spinal-epidural anesthesia was performed in NSD group and SD group.In TEAS group, Neiguan, Baihui, Zusanli and Sanyinjiao acupoints were selected for performing TEAS from the completion of combined spinal-epidural anesthesia to the end of operation, and TEAS was performed for 30 min on the 1st and 2nd days after operation.Patient-controlled intravenous analgesia was applied after operation in the three groups.The blood samples were taken from the cubital vein before operation and at 1 and 2 days after operation for determination of the plasma melatonin and prolactin concentrations (by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay). The Leeds Sleep Evaluation Questionnaire (LSEQ) was used to evaluate the quality of sleep before operation and at 1, 2 and 7 days after operation.The Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale was used to evaluate the postpartum depression at 6 weeks after operation. Results:Compared with NSD group, LSEQ scores were significantly decreased at each time point after operation, the incidence of postpartum depression was increased, and the concentrations of plasma melatonin and prolactin were decreased, and the lactation initiation time was prolonged in SD group ( P<0.05). Compared with SD group, LSEQ scores were significantly increased at each time point after operation, the incidence of postpartum depression was decreased, and the concentrations of plasma melatonin and prolactin were increased, and the lactation initiation time was shortened in TEAS group ( P<0.05). Conclusion:TEAS can raise the the sleep quality after cesarean section and reduce the occurrence of postpartum depression in the parturients with sleep disorders.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To observe the application effect of formative evaluation of embedded standard patient (SP) on internal medicine practice teaching.Methods:In this study, 110 students from our school in Batch 2014 who were interned in the internal medicine of the same affiliated hospital were selected as the research objects, and they were randomized into the experimental group and the control group, with 55 students in each group. The control group was trained with traditional clinical practice teaching methods. The experimental group used SP combined mini-clinical evaluation exercise (Mini-CEX) to participate in the evaluation during the clinical practice teaching of internal medicine. After the internal medical practice, the two groups of students were evaluated by Mini-CEX, and the teaching effect of both groups was evaluated through questionnaires.Results:There was no significant difference in the degree of difficulty in the examinations ( P>0.05), but the test scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The results of Mini-CEX used in inquiry skills, physical examination, humanistic care, and organizational effectiveness were significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group. The experimental group was highly satisfied with the formative evaluation of SP participation in improving the effect of internal medicine practice, with statistical significance ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The formative evaluation with SP participation in this study can improve the clinical practice teaching effect of medical students to a certain extent.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Dahuang Zhechong pill combined with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate in treating liver fibrosis of chronic hepatitis B and its effect of intestinal flora.Methods:One hundred and twenty chronic hepatitis B cases with liver fibrosis treating in Rugao Hospital Affiliated to Nantong University from March 2018 to November 2019 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 60 cases in each group according to the random number table. The control group was orally given with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (1 tablet/time and quaque die).The observation group was treated with Dahuang Zhechong pill(3 g/time and bis in die) at basis of control group. The course was for 48 weeks for two groups. Liver function, liver fibrosis, hepatitis B virus e antigen(HBeAg) negative conversion rate, hepatitis b virus (HBV)-DNA negative conversion rate, the efficacy and intestinal flora changes were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The adverse reactions were recorded in two groups.Results:After treatment, the levels of aspartic transaminase(AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), gamma-glutamyltransferase(GGT), total bilirubin (TBIL) in observation group were lower than those in control group [(41.62 ± 5.93) U/L vs. (50.41 ± 7.12) U/L, (41.99 ± 5.76) U/L vs. (52.17 ± 7.09) U/L, (34.46 ± 5.31) U/L vs. (49.41 ± 6.23) U/L, (20.35 ± 3.04) μmol/L vs. (25.60 ± 3.95) μmol/L], and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of hyaluronic acid (HA), procollagen Ⅲ (PCⅢ), type Ⅳ collagen (Ⅳ-C), Laminin(LN) in observation group were lower than those in control group [(167.45 ± 18.75) μg/L vs. (209.44 ± 22.96) μg/L, (103.44 ± 12.75) μg/L vs. (140.08 ± 16.33) μg/L, (81.41 ± 10.06) μg/L vs. (126.36 ± 14.94) μg/L, (108.41 ± 12.72) μg/L vs. (169.41 ± 19.22) μg/L], and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group [91.67%(55/60) vs. 76.27%(45/59)], and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). The negative conversion ratio of HBeAg, HBV-DNA in the observation group were higher than those in the control group [28.33%(17/60) vs. 11.86%(7/59), 83.33%(50/60) vs. 66.10%(39/59)], and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the levels of bifidobacteria and lactobacillus in the observation group were higher and the levels of escherichia coli and enterococcus in observation group were lower, and the improvement of intestinal flora in the observation group were better than those in the control group ( P<0.01). Conclusions:Dahuang Zhechong pill combined with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate in treating liver fibrosis of chronic hepatitis B can improve the liver function and liver fibrosis, and can improve the serological conversion rate of HBeAg, inhibit HBV DNA replication, increase the therapeutic effect, and is safety. The effect of Dahuang Zhechong pill on intestinal flora may be related to the curative effect.

Objective:To validate the effectiveness of the "ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) cluster nursing package" in Tianjin.Methods:A self-test questionnaire was prepared based on the "Ventilator-associated pneumonitis bundled nursing package", and an electronic questionnaire was used to investigate the comprehensive ICU of 40 hospitals in Tianjin.Results:The average self-examination form of the comprehensive ICU "ventilator-associated pneumonia cluster nursing package" in Tianjin was 28.92 points (out of 30 points), of which the bedside elevation, sedation and wake up, timely extubation, strict hand hygiene, and maintenance Effective airbag pressure, timely dumping of condensate water, timely removal of stagnation, and prevention of the total score of VAP package execution were related to the occurrence of VAP in patients in Tianjin from August 2018 to August 2019 ( r value was 0.101, P <0.01); ICU unit layout, nurse level and prevention of VAP package implementation are the influencing factors of VAP in ICU patients. Conclusion:The "ventilator-associated pneumonitis cluster nursing package" has been well implemented in Tianjin ICU, and the implementation of this package can reduce the incidence of VAP.

ABSTRACT

Eleven flavonoids were isolated from the twigs of Broussonetia papyrifera by column chromatography over silica gel,ODS,MCI gel,and Sephadex LH-20,as well as RP-HPLC.Their structures were identified by spectroscopic methods including NMR,MS,UV,and IR as broupapyrin A(1),5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxy-3-methoxy-8-geranylflavone(2),8-prenylquercetin-3-methyl ether(3),broussonol D(4),broussoflavonol B(5),uralenol(6),broussonol E(7),8-(1,1-dimethylallyl)-5'-(3-methylbut-2-enyl)-3',4',5,7-tetrahydroxyflanvonol(8),broussoflavonol E(9),4,2',4'-trihydroxychalcone(10),and butein(11).Compound 1 is a new isoprenylated flavonol.Compounds 3,6,10,and 11 were obtained from the genus Broussonetia for the first time,and 4 and 7 were firstly discovered in B.papyrifera.Compounds 1-5 and 7-9 showed significant inhibitory effects on PTP1 B with IC50 values ranging from(0.83±0.30) to(4.66±0.83) μmol·L-1.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To investigate the application value of real-time three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography (RT-3D-TEE) for diagnosing mitral papillary muscle rupture (PMR). Methods: Totally 35 patients with suspected PMR were enrolled. The mitral valve lesion and whether the lesion associated with PMR were evaluated with transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and RT-3D-TEE preoperation. Taken surgical results as gold standards, the efficacy of preoperative RT-3D-TEE and TTE in diagnosis of mitral PMR were calculated. Results: PMR was confirmed in 25 cases by cardiac surgery, including 23 cases of posteromedial PMR and 2 cases of anterolateral PMR, while complete PMR was observed in 1 case and partial PMR in 24 cases. Mitral valve replacement was performed in 23 patients, while mitral valve repairment was performed in 2 patients. Ten cases were found without mitral PMR. Preoperation RT-3D-TEE and TTE diagnosed 23 and 20 cases of PMR, respectively. The compliance rate with surgical findings were statistical different between RT-3D-TEE (92.00% [23/25]) and TTE (80.00% [20/25]; P=0.033). The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and Youden index of RT-3D-TEE in preoperative diagnosis of PMR was 92.00% (23/25), 100% (10/10), 94.29% (33/35), 100% (23/23), 83.33% (10/12) and 0.92, which of TTE was 80.00% (20/25), 90.00% (9/10), 82.86% (29/35), 95.24% (20/21), 64.29% (9/14) and 0.70, respectively. Conclusion: RT-3D-TEE can accurately depict ultrasonic features of mitral valve anatomy and pathology from different angles and viewpoints, which is an effective method for confirming mitral PMR and providing reliable information for preoperative diagnosis, intraoperative monitoring and postoperative evaluation of PMR.

ABSTRACT

The therapeutic application of deoxypodophyllotoxin (DPT) is limited due to its poor water solubility and stability. In the present study, the micelles assembled by the amphiphilic block copolymers (mPEG-PDLLA) were constructed to improve the solubility and safety of DPT for their in vitro and in vivo application. The central composite design was utilized to develop the optimal formulation composed of 1221.41 mg mPEG-PDLLA, the weight ratio of 1 : 4 (mPEG-PDLLA : DPT), 30 mL hydration volume and the hydration temperature at 40 °C. The results showed that the micelles exhibited uniformly spherical shape with the diameter of 20 nm. The drug-loading and entrapment efficiency of deoxypodophyllotoxin-polymeric micelles (DPT-PM) were about (20 ± 2.84)% and (98 ± 0.79)%, respectively, indicating that the mathematical models predicted well for the results. Compared to the free DPT, the cytotoxicity showed that blank micelles possessed great safety for Hela cells. In addition, the DPT loaded micelle formulation achieved stronger cytotoxicity at the concentration of 1 × 10 mol·L, which showed significant difference from free DPT (P < 0.05). In conclusion, the micelles were highly promising nano-carriers for the anti-tumor therapy with DPT.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the application of 43-plex SNP typing system in forensic science. Methods The typing of 43 SNP loci in 123 unrelated Han individuals from East China was detected by MALDI-TOF-MS. The application value of 43-plex SNP typing system was assessed according to the foren-sic parameters of population genetics. Results All the 43 SNP loci of 123 individuals showed no signifi-cant departure from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P>0.05). Excepted rs1355366, rs2270529, rs10776839 and rs938283, there were 39 SNP loci had minor allele frequencies (MAF), which were greater than 0.25. Among the 25 loci MAFs, 24 ranged from 0.4 to 0.5, while 3 were close to 0.4. The DP, CDP, PIC, Ho, PEtrio and PEduo of the 43 SNP loci were 0.2901-0.6544, 1-9.8×10-11, 0.1708-0.5000, 0.1557-0.5935, 0.0854-0.2500 and 0.0146-0.1250, respectively. The CPEtrio and CPEduo were 0.999986 and 0.9924361, respectively. Conclusion The 43-plex SNP typing system in present study shows a high polymorphism, which can be an effective supplement and verification for traditional STR genetic markers. It also can be used with other commercial kits for the forensic paternity testing and individual identification.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the genetic polymorphism of 21 autosomal STR loci and DY S391 locus of SiFaSTRTM 23plex DNA ID system in Han population of eastern China and to evaluate its ap-plication value in forensic science. Methods Typing test of 2000 unrelated individuals was performed using SiFaSTRTM 23plex DNA ID system. The population genetic parameters of STR loci were statistically analysed. A total of 3198 parentage confirmed cases were detected with that system and the mutation conditions were observed in 21 autosomal STR loci. Results All the 21 autosomal STR loci showed no significant departure from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P>0.05). The Ho ranged from 0.6175 to 0.9270. The DP ranged from 0.7964 to 0.9869, as well as the PIC distributed from 0.5611 to 0.9123. The CDP was 0.999999999999999. The CPEduo was 0.999997431701961, while CPEtrio was 0.999999999654865. Five alleles were detected in DY S391 locus, with the allele frequency from 0.0040 to 0.7290, and GD was 0.4189. Except D13S317 and D10S1248, seventy-six mutation events were observed at the rest nineteen autosomal STR loci. Among them, seventy-five (98.68%) were one step mutation, and only one (1.32%) was three steps mutation. The mutation rate ranged from 0.2465×10-3 to 2.7114×10-3, and the averaged mutation rate was 0.8921×10-3 (95% CI: 0.70×10-3-1.10×10-3). In 33 trio mutation cases, the proportion of the paternal mutation and the maternal mutation was 2.09:1. Conclusion The involved STRs are highly polymorphic in Eastern Han population with acceptable mutation rates by the SiFaSTRTM 23plex DNA ID system, which is suitable for paternity testing and individual identification.

Objective@#To establish the domestic matrix assisted laser desorption/ionisation time of flight mass spectrometry database for identification of clinical mycobacteria and evaluate its accuracy with foreign counterpart. @*Methods@#The establishment of "Chinese Pathogenic Mycobacteria Mass Spectrometry Database" : nineteen American type culture collection strains from 19 species and 183 "standardized" isolates from 42 species were selected and extracted by modified ultrasonic extraction method for spectral acquisition and database establishment based on microTyper MS. Each extract was dropped onto 12 spots and tested twice to generate 24 spectrum, then at least 20 qualified spectrum according to the standard were selected. Subsequently they were composed into one main spectra (MSP) by setting peak number maximum, peak frequency minimum and mass tolerance. Verification of database: Totally 305 mycobacteria from different regions were used for comparison of accuracy and spectral features between microTyper MS based on domestic database and imported MALDI TOF MS base on Mycobacteria Library 3.0 database. @*Results@#The database composed of 202 stains from 42 species was constructed, with an average of 4.8 in each species. The top ten were M. Kansasii(16), M. intracellulare(16), M. gordonae(16), M. fortuitum(16), M. avium(16), M. abscessus(16), M. tuberculosis(15), M. marseillense(11), M. arupense(10), M. yongongens(8). A total of 305 isolates were confirmed belonging to 22 species by sequencing. The accuracy based on this database was 99.67% (304/305), which was better than the Mycobacteria Library 3.0 database (χ2=4.06, P<0.05). @*Conclusion@#The construction of the "Chinese Pathogenic Mycobacteria Mass Spectrometry Database" meets the requirement of routine clinical application and was more accurate than its counterpart in terms of domestic comment strains.(Chin J Lab Med, 2018, 41: 519-526)

ABSTRACT

Objective To understand the drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis(MTB)and susceptibility of multidrug-resistant MTB(MDR-MTB)to linezolid in Hebei Province, so as to guiding clinical treatment of MDR tuberculosis.Methods The isolated strains and clinical information of patients with tuberculosis in 6 hospitals of 5 cities in Hebei Province between January and December 2016 were collected, susceptibility of MTB to antituberculous drugs isoniazid(INH), rifampicin(RFP), streptomycin(SM), ethambutol(EMB), ofloxacin(OFX), and kanamycin(KM)were detected, 100 strains of MDR-MTB were selected by stratified random sampling method, susceptibility to linezolid was detected.Results Drug resistance rate and MDR rate of the initially treated cases were 26.6%(200/753)and 13.5%(102/753)respectively, drug resistance rate and MDR rate of the retreatment cases were 59.7%(132/221)and 53.4(118/221)respectively, drug resistance rate and MDR rate of the retreatment cases were both statistically higher than initially treated cases(χ2=83.7, P<0.01;χ2=93.5, P<0.01).Resistance rates of MTB to first-line antituberculous drugs INH, RFP, SM, and EMB were 25.8%, 23.7%, 16.7%, and 7.1% respectively, to second-line antituberculous drugs OFX and KM were 4.7%(37/782)and 4.0%(31/782)respectively; susceptibility of MDR-MTB to linezolid was 80.8% (59/73).Conclusion Drug resistance rate and MDR rate of the retreated tuberculosis patients are higher than initially treated patients, linezolid has good in vitro antimicrobial activity against MDR-MTB.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the relationship between thyroid volume and multiple body indexes such as urinary iodine level,height,and weight,respectively,in order to provide a theoretical basis for evaluation of goiter disease in the future. Methods The height and weight were measured, and urine samples were collected from children aged 8 to 10 years old from 10 township schools of Nangqian County in Qinghai Province in 2014 and urinary iodine was tested via the As (Ⅲ)-Ce4+catalytic spectrophotometry method. Meanwhile, the thyroid volume was immediately measured via the B-ultrasound method. Statistical analyses were employed finally to assess the difference and correlation between thyroid volume and multiple physiological indexes including urinary iodine level, height, weight, gender and age. Results The thyroid volume of 773 children aged 8 to 10 years old showed skewed distribution (W = 0.088, P < 0.05), with median of 3.53 ml and quartile of 3.05, 4.15 ml. The thyroid volume was not significantly different between different urinary iodine levels (H = 1.644, P > 0.05). There were significant differences of the thyroid volume among different height groups, weight groups and age groups (H=59.845,64.888,28.590,P<0.05),and the thyroid volume was positively correlated with height weight and age,respectively(r = 0.389, 0.359, 0.155, P < 0.05). Conclusions The thyroid volume is related to the level of children's physiological parameters, such as age, height, weight. Therefore, the diagnosis of thyroid volume via the B-ultrasound method for a individual child should not only take age,but also height and weight into account, to reduce the diagnostic error of goiter disease.

·AIM:To determine the effect of anterior-posterior joint surgery on choroidal thickness in patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR). · METHODS: A retrospective, case - control study enrolled 60 eyes of 60 patients with PDR diagnosed at Qingdao Municipal Hospital. The patients, who had conditions that warranted anterior - posterior joint surgery,were divided into a clinically significant macular edema group (PDR/CSME+;31 patients,31 eyes) and a non-CSME group (PDR/CSME-;29 patients,29 eyes). Twenty-seven eyes of 27 normal patients were included in the control group. All affected eyes underwent anterior - posterior joint surgery. After surgery, the subfoveal choroidal thickness (SFCT), and the nasal choroidal thickness (NCT) and temporal choroidal thickness (TCT), which were obtained at a distance of 1500μ m from the fovea in the nasal and temporal directions, respectively, were measured in the control and PDR groups by enhanced depth imaging spectral domain optical coherence tomography (EDI-SDOCT) at 1wk,1,3, and 6mo after surgery. Changes in choroidal thickness after anterior - posterior joint surgery were compared between the groups. ·RESULTS:The SFCT,NCT,and TCT were significantly thicker at 1mo than at 1wk, 3, and 6mo after surgery in the PDR/CSME+ and PDR/CSME- groups(P<0.05). The SFCT, NCT, and TCT were significantly thinner at 6mo than at 1wk,1,and 3mo after surgery in the PDR/CSME+and PDR/CSME- groups(P<0.05). The SFCT,NCT,and TCT in the PDR/CSME+ and PDR/CSME- groups at 1wk, 1, and 3mo after surgery were significantly thicker than those in the control group (all P<0.05), but the SFCT, NCT, and TCT at 6mo after surgery showed no significant difference compared with the control group (all P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the SFCT,NCT, or TCT at 1wk, 1, 3, or 6mo between the PDR/CSME+ and PDR/CSME- groups (P>0.05). ·CONCLUSION:The choroidal thickness of PDR patients increases within 1mo after surgery, and decreased after 1mo,but is not significantly different between the control group and the PDR groups at 6mo after surgery. Whether PDR is associated with CSME has no effect on the choroidal thickness after surgery.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the prevalence of fatty liver in male patients and to explore the risk factors of the disease,so as to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of fatty liver in male patients.Methods A total of one thousand seven hundred and eight male patients with physical examination in 2016 in Tangshan Third Hospital were selected, and 488 cases of fatty liver were diagnosed by ultrasonography.The prevalence of fatty liver in male patients with different characteristics was analyzed,the difference of blood biochemical indexes between fatty liver and non fatty liver groups was compared,and the non-conditional logistic regression model was used to explore the risk factors affecting the prevalence of fatty liver in males.Results The prevalence rate of fatty liver in males was 28.6%(488/1708).The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the individual characteristics(age,BMI,smoking,drinking)and biochemical indexes(FPG,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C)had significant effects on the prevalence of fatty liver in male patients(P<0.05).The prevalence rate of fatty liver increased with age(χ2=77.321,P<0.05),the prevalence rates of<40 years old,≥40 years-<50 years,≥50 years-<60 years,above 60 years were 14.9%(68/488),25.0%(80/488),32.7%(132/488),39.4%(208/488)respectively.Overweight,obesity,smoking and drinking increased the risk of fatty liver disease,and the OR values were 3.173,4.175,2.401 and 3.249 respectively.The biochemical indexes FPG,TC,TG,LDL-C in the fatty liver group((7.61 ± 2.85)mmol/L, (6.55±1.52)mmol/L,(1.97±0.68)mmol/L,(3.18±0.93)mmol/L)were higher than those in the non fatty liver group((5.17 ±1.37)mmol/L,(5.49 ± 1.46)mmol/L,(1.47 ± 0.71)mmol/L,(2.86 ± 0.81)mmol/L),the differences were statistically significant(t=580.648,220.727,176.356,33.596,P<0.05),HDL-C was lower than that in non fatty liver group((1.18 ± 0.38)mmol/L vs.(1.29 ± 0.41)mmol/L,t =42.261,P<0.05).Conclusion The prevalence of male fatty liver was higher.Age,obesity,smoking,alcohol consumption, glucose metabolism and lipid metabolism disorder were closely related to the occurrence of fatty liver in male.

AIM To observe the combinative therapeutic effects of Mailuo Shutong Granules and routine synthetic medications on patients with superficial thrombophlebitis (STP).METHODS Seventy patients randomly and equally divided into control group and observation group were subjected to a two-week conventional treatment and a two-week intervention of Mailuo Shutong Granules on the basis of routine treatment,respectively,and they had the before and after the treatment assessment in terms of main clinical symptoms and signs,endothelial function indices (NO,ET-1,TXB2,6-Keto-PGF1α,VEGF,vWF),hemorheology indices (plasma viscosity,blood sedimentation,erythrocyte aggregation index,fibrous protein).RESULTS The observation group generally demonstrated significantly higher effective rate than the control group (P < 0.05).Markedly decreased post-treatment scores for main clinical symptoms and signs,TXB2,ET-1,vWF,plasma viscosity,blood sedimentation,erythrocyte aggregation index,fibrous protein,and increased 6-Keto-PGF1 α,VEGF and NO (P < 0.05) in both groups were observed,as well as the between-group variance showing the observation group's priority (P < 0.05).The respective 8.57% and 14.29% incidence rates of adverse reactions in the observation group and control group were also noticed.CONCLUSION For patients with STP,a combination therapy of Mailuo Shutong Granules on the basis of synthetic medications contributes to an effective main clinical symptoms alleviation due to its vascular endothelial cells protection,cellular secretion function and hemorheological improvement.

Objective To establish a quality control method for bomeol and artificial musk in Xinfufang-Zhenzhusan and Xinfufang-Zhenzhugao.Methods We used petroleum ether-toluene-ethyl acetate (9:3:2)as developer for TLC to identify isoborneol and borneol and petroleum ether-dichloromethane (2:3) as developer for TLC to identificate musk ketone.Agilent 7890 B gas chromatograph,FDI detector;Column:Thermo-TG-WaxMS GC (0.25 mm × 30 m,0.25 mm) was employed;the carrier gas was high purity nitrogen and flow rate for 1 mg/ml,the injection port temperature is 200 C and detector temperature is 250 ℃;the split ratio is 10:1 and injection volume was 1 μl,using temperature programmed.Results The isoborneol,borneol and musk ketone in the range of 0.001-10 mg/ml showed good linearity.The recovery of the method is in the range of 95 % to 105 %.The TLC for isobomeol,bomeol,musk ketone can be identified easily.Conclusions The method was simple and reasonable,which can be used for the quality control of borneol and artificial musk in the Xinfufang-Zhenzhusan and Xinfufang-Zhenzhugao.

ABSTRACT

Genetic markers in forensic DNA typing experienced the variable number of tandem repeats (VNTR) sequences and the short tandem repeats (STR) sequences. With the emerge of sequencing technology, the third generation of genetic markers were found out, which usually have two alleles including single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) and insertion/deletion (InDel), also known as biallelic genetic markers. Because of the insertions or deletions of DNA fragments, InDel genetic marker reveals DNA fragment length polymorphism and widely distributes across the whole genome. InDel genetic marker is numerous and has the characteristics of STR and SNP genetic markers, which has been applied in the fields of genetics and anthropology. This review focuses on the research progress of InDel genetic marker in forensic science, aiming to review and summarize the main research findings in recent years and provide clues for future researches.

OBJECTIVES@#To select a Y-STR marker system with strong haplotype identification ability, appropriate mutation rate and high compatibility and to assess its forensic application.@*METHODS@#The 24 Y-STR loci were tested by self-built fluorescent multiplex system, and the forensic assessment was conducted by 139 pairs of father-son samples collected in Jinan, Shandong province.@*RESULTS@#Totally 176 alleles were identified among the 24 Y-STR loci in the sample of 139 unrelated individuals labeled with father, and the gene diversity (GD) distributed between 0.083 7 (DYS645)-0.966 9 (DYS385a/b). According to the 24 Y-STR loci, 139 different haplotypes were detected from 139 unrelated male individuals labeled with father in Han population of Shandong province and with no shared haplotype observed. The overall haplotype diversity (HD) was 1 and the discrimination capacity (DC) was 1. A total of 5 one-step mutations events were observed among the 24 Y-STR loci in 139 pairs of father-son. The average mutation rate was 0.001 5 [95% CI (0.000 5, 0.003 5)].@*CONCLUSIONS@#The system of 24 Y-STR loci shows a strong individual recognition ability and low mutation rate in the population in Jinan, Shandong province, and it has good application value in forensic science.
